Front Desk Staff

We are currently staffed at the Front Desk.  If you are interested in a Front Desk position with us, please stop by the club to fill out an application.




Objective:
 To greet all guests and members before they greet you in a warm friendly way that lets them know we will take care of them with fun, courtesy, and professionalism. You are the first and last impression of One Boulder Fitness – we are counting on you to make us look great on all of your interactions with every member and guest. In addition, to know about and be able to speak about all club events and occurrences to members and guests to fully make them aware of how we can assist them with their success at One Boulder Fitness.

In short: you need to be knowledgeable, able to handle five things at once, have a smile and love every minute of it.

Responsibilities:

• Greets and checks in all members and guests

• Sells all products and services
• Liaison between members and Membership Office: Including prospects and current members

• Answers and directs all incoming phone calls

• Fields all member complaints and concerns

• Performs Opening and Closing Procedures for the club if assigned those shifts

• Responsible for keeping both Program and Check-In desks clean, neat, and orderly

• Attends monthly departmental meetings and periodic all-staff meetings

• Maintains professionalism when not assisting members; avoids eating, sitting, reading, Internet surfing, or any other activities that are not work-related

• Creates the “First Impression”

• Understand and execute any necessary forms

• Report any equipment or facility problems to the Maintenance Director

• Provide impeccable follow-through with all member comments to insure that we are exceeding their expectations.

• Look at the update book daily to be aware of all its contents

• Make sure all necessary forms, materials, towels, refreshments and literature are fully stocked before they get low


Membership Staff

 Objective:


To contribute and generate revenue for One Boulder Fitness through honest and enthusiastic membership sales and service and to participate in advertising and promotions. To create and strengthen relationships with members, enhance their sense of belonging and community within the club.



Guidelines:

I. To provide effective membership tours to prospective members and guests, determining their needs and wants; matching those needs and wants with One Boulder Fitness services and an appropriate membership. 


II. Follow up with prospects that do not join within 24 hours via phone or e-mail. 


III. Generate new sales leads through prospecting, continue to work current leads through to resolution, attend appropriate community networking events, and respond to member referrals and old leads. You will be expected to make a minimum of 60 phone calls each day, and have 3 appointments each day. 


IV. Have a minimum of 20 phone calls and 10 contacts per day to existing members to stay in touch with them and invite them to club functions or relevant programs. 


V. Create and host monthly events for members that address their needs. You will be expected to have attendance of 10-15 members at the event. 


VI. Expect to work a schedule to be determined on a monthly basis consisting of 40+ hours per week. 


VII. Listen to and read relevant sales materials as well as attend and participate in weekly sales meetings to enhance performance/refocus efforts. 


VIII. Meet and exceed monthly membership goals. Failing to achieve goals more than three months in a 1 year period will result in an employment review and possible termination. 


IX. Complete all membership paperwork accurately and promptly to submit for processing. 
X. Work as a team member on the management staff to provide a high level of service to members, inspiration and leadership to staff and assist in directing the flow of the club for smooth and profitable operation. 


XI. Complete Membership Sales Reports accurately and submit to the Sales Director on a weekly basis. You are expected to utilize your sales reports to accurately mange your business by the numbers so the club is able to do so as well.


XII. While on duty, play with the members and staff and provide them and experience that enhances their membership or job. You are required to perform SBWA twice per day for 15 minutes each time.


XIII. Participate and assist in the planning and implementation of all promotions. 


XIV. Learn and assist in all functions relating to the front desk daily operations.
